Cone Beam CT Multi-Planar Correlative Anatomy

Welcome to the multiplanar correlative anatomy. This module will help you identify any anatomical landmarks on both the three-dimensional (3D) reconstructed image and the corresponding orthographic views (axial, coronal and sagittal) while correlating between the different views. The scan data set was obtained using an i-CAT CBCT machine. A descriptive text is provided with the radiographic appearance for that particular structure.

Instructions:

Select the view you want to see by clicking the buttons: Perspective, Inferior, or Mid-Sagittal on top. Normally the default view will be the perspective view. You can select structures by clicking on the structure name under the structures list . The structure will be highlighted on the 3D reconstructed image and the three orthographic views will be updated. You can hover your cursor on the orthographic images (Axial, coronal, and sagittal) to view more relevant surrounding structures. Move the cursor outside the image boundaries and the image will revert back to its original status. or best visual experience, we suggest you go and click the full screen button which will put you in an immersive environment.
