but I am not sure this is right since I can send pictures to dcm4chee. it is only retrieveing pictures I can’t. Query is OK and when looking through dcm4chee_web I can open the pictures too!

This DNS stuff i don’t understand. i have fixed IP on both dcm4chee and my computer…

Hi
When I query dcm4chee I get the studies showed, but when I try to retrieve the pictures to osirix I get this message:
Move failed Refused: OutOfResourcesSubOperation

I don’t know if this is osirix problem or connection problems. It started after about 6 month use of them both. New studies are stored in dcm4chee and I can look at pictures through the web interface directly at dcm4chee

I can query and send images to the DB in DCM4CHEE but if want to retrieve the image this is what i get. any ideas Thanks

firewalls off on mac and the pc winxp (db dcm4che)

i can retrieve in other nodes (pc) with clearcanvas

VPN is always the best way to connect remotely. But you can have a firewall running and open a port for OsiriX for communication behind the firewall.

In an earlier post you said you would give a tutorial on how to access your dcm4che or Osirix database from a remote place (via internet and not intranet). Could you please help with this ans setting up a VPN?

If you are talking about the database location in Osirix. Go to OsiriX>Preference>Database. Under File Management, change recommended to other and select the location you want to store the data on your Xserver RAID storage.
