Better multilingual support

We have updated the theme on the website to better support multilingual features in different sections of the website.  Thanks to WPML (WordPress MultiLingual) powerful translation features, it was possible to have the title, header, introduction and footer completely translated.
Translators for languages other than Portuguese and Spanish are welcome to join.
Enjoy the new experience!

  1. Translation is extremely important, as demonstrated by Google at its Knol ‘pedia. Machine translation (eg., http://www.translate.google.com) must have a human proofreader. Until the world adopts and implements a global language.

An interesting article proposing English as the most likely global language can be found at

Technical content is a special challenge. New question: should translators be volunteers or paid?

    • Although English is not my native language. I feel that it should become the global language; however, there are billions of people out there who speak so many different languages and not so many can afford to learn English even if they want to. Machine translation can ease the transition but it is still not suitable for technical nor medical translation
