Gallery got updated and fibrous dysplasia added

Side by side comparison between pre-op and post-op.

I had to pull back for a second to review the galleries I have implemented so far. I noticed several issues that I didn’t notice before. Many of the reports have white blocks and the reason for that I believe is because these reports are meant for printing primarily and for viewing secondarily. Now all those white blocks are black.

Another issue I noticed is that arrows are almost no where to be found. We always tend to have the assumption that people can see what we radiologists can see but that’s not always true. I added arrows to more than an image in every gallery report to clearly indicate the location and the boundaries of a lesion.

Post-op radiographs now have textual description. I used comparison feature in FastStone image viewer to show side by side comparison between the pre and post-op radiographs.

Fibrous dysplasia is the first disease to benefit from of this. Other lesions will follow.
